Maria A. Arango, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

Maria Arango, MPAS, PA-C received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Maria received her Bachelors in Exercise Science and Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida, where she completed an internship at UF Health Orthopedic Sports Medicine Institute. She was raised in Vero Beach and is fluent in Spanish. She specializes in orthopedic surgery and collaborates with the physician to formulate non-surgical and surgical treatment plans.

A Physician Assistant is a health care provider who works in collaboration with a physician to deliver quality care to patients. Physician Assistants have a Master's Degree in Medical Science and are Board Certified by the National Commission on certification of Physician Assistants. Physician Assistants examine, diagnose, interpret test results, provide treatment and prescribe medications.
